I currently have a manual steering rack at 4 turns lock to lock. I want a much quicker one, was going to try and get a quaife one at 2.25 (correct?) turns but recently heard the EPS racks are about 2.5 lock to lock. Correct?

A scrap yard is the obvious place to find one but I don't know what Corsa's have EPS or how to tell the difference. Could someone tell me what to look for on one in a scrap yard please

Only higher spec 1.0 12v's and 1.2 16v's came with EPAS mate. Im not sure what the lock is on them though

my corsa club has that rack and its a 1.0 but shit spec.
one of the last ones though so could be why

I think most of the corsa's with power steering also have airbags so will have this steering wheel:

Opposed to the 2 spoke one.

yeah eps is about 2.7 lock to lock.. look behind the fusebox and check for the motor, or look behind driver kick plate for ecu

Nope, on the 12v and 1.2 16v the engine ecu is in the engine bay and the EPS ecu (if fitted) is behind the kick panel
