I have no problems with this as long as its agreed that by doing the work they take X% ownership in the house and when its sold they will make back the money and more

its there fucking job to maintain there house! get a fecking loan like everyone else!
they have done this round me. run the house into the ground ( so it resembles a shack!) then the council paid to renovate the whole area! granted it looks nice but they dont deserve it!

Council tax shouldn't be spent on fixing up privately own properties, opening the flood gates to more abuse really.

Fucking pakis get all they want. Am sure the councillors just get in to push their luck and see how far they can go.


If it goes and collapses then tough shit . Pakis want everything for fuck all and bailing out. Bet they all claim benefits but all work taxis and curry houses . Makes my blood boil

But lee, they shouldn't even try to put it through in the first place.

I bet if you rang your local council and said you need a new roof, then asked them to pay for it. They would tell you to do one.

If council are doing the roof on something like a 4 in a block, the scroungers with council houses get it free and they force the people who have had a bit of respect and bought to pay for it.

Well st helens council won't pay for ours after destroying it re roofing the houses on either side, or even pay for the repairs we have had to make!
