I know there are alot of anti-Police on here, but this guy deserves our respect. He lost alot more than his sight when shot by Raoul Moat, to the point where it became too much. An ordinary guy who nearly died, yet went back to the same job because thats what he was paid to do. A man that will not be forgotten, especially by rank and file officers. RIP.

He was supposedly struggling with coming to terms he was blind.
It apparently takes a out 10years for a sighted person who goes blind to cope with it.
Poor fellow.
