Hi my x14xe corsa b is returning really bad fuel economy !! 170 miles to a full tank ! Also my exhaust is jet black which I've been told means it's running rich ! Has anyone had this problem or no how to fix it ???

check all your vacuum hoses for splits or leaks

No mate the light isn't coming on !! I've had a new lambda on and replaced a split vacuum hose and these have made no difference !!!

Whats with all the 1 or 2 word replies^^^??? Most common fault for that engine is the coolant temp sensor failing. it wont chuc k a light on as it thinks its doing its job

When was the last time your spark plugs were changed
Have a look at then and see wht there like. If there fudged. Replace them. And its most likely going to be the temp sensor

Will check the spark plugs today mate ! Do you no were the temp sensor is located so I can change that too ??
