The last couple of times I've cleaned my car then came to dry it I've used 2 differnet things, one was the obvious Chamios, then the lint free cloths but still I'm getting watermarks the next day what do you lot use?

Towel, then go over with a microfibre mitt so theres no marks

FFS Gary you confused me to hell then.
Also noticed I have swirl marks as if the previous owner has gone through a car wash. How do I resolve that aswell?

Use a drying towel that gets me a water mark free finish.

Use a Quick detailer after drying too to give a better finish and add a bit of protection.
I recommend Dodo Juice Red Mist.
As for swirls, they need machine polishing out.

Try AG SRP on the swirls. Depending on how bad they are, you might be able to remove them with said polish. Its very good at removing swirls by hand.

It doesn't remove them, it just fills them and to use it properly it needs working in thoroughly.

Just use a couple of microfibre cloths, one to take most of the surface water off and the other that get the rest. Then like Ben says, i quick detail the entire car to get rid of any slight water marks.

I used to dry mine for going fo a quick blast then wipe down with a microfibre towel. Now i just get the petrol blower and save the petrol lol

Machine polisher to remove swirls
Wash car as per normal, rinse, then mist with quick detailer ( I use Megs Last Touch ) and dry with Miracle Drier.
