Most of it is still covered in its protective wrapping as I'm currently redecorating the room it's in (but there are holes in the wrapping underneath where I've attached the table legs to it). The other morning I went into the room and that is what I was greeted with.
Apparently particleboard (which is what most of Ikea's furniture is made out of) doesn't like moisture, the thing is I have a desk in the same room and that seems OK?
The only difference is that desk has no wrapping on it. Could this be why it's gone all funny like that, and could I get away with getting a replacement tabletop from Ikea? I only bought it about 2 or 3 weeks ago

just wrap it back up and say you want a refund. usually it's no questions asked.
done the same after a broke a wardrobe whilst putting it up
