The lens' on my car are quite foggy/manky looking now, I guess 13 years of weather has taken its toll on the plastic.

I've seen this on eBay, has anyone ever used anything like this before? There is a cheaper product available that doesn't have the sandpaper etc. just a cloth and a bottle of solution, so I guess this is probably better to buy?

Anyone got any experiences with using this kind of stuff?

lads on cliosport use wet and dry sandpaper iirc, the clio headlights go manky really easily

scratch x works iirc, loads of pumas have the same problem. won't last forever though.

I wouldn't say thats expensive.
IF you can get access to a machine polisher and you have some 2000 grit wet and dry then you can restore them that way.

Or you can try some Autosol metal polish, work it really well, it may take a while by hand but I've achieved good results

Just use very fine wet and dry.

Also, when i was on the Astra forums, the Mk4 boys used vaseline iirc with good result.

i've used plast-x on my poly carb rear window and that cleared it up well

Just clay it and use some polish. Done.
