Anyone know where I can get one a similar style, but cheaper? I don't know the name of the style of chair so struggling to find anything other than from ikea. Just for at Uni where it will probably end up wrecked so don't wanna spend a fortune on it

That's an Ikea original design, so the style of the chair is an Ikea chair I suppose. It's one of their most famous designs.

The tend to be called bentwood chairs, Aldi and Poundstretcher/Instore often have their versions. Also Ikea do a cheaper one than the Poang.

A cheap one will probably last the same amount of time with just you sitting on it. It's not a design that lends itself to cost cutting, they're a little flimsy to start with!

We were after this type of chair for in our baby's room but I think we are going to go for the rocker version now as it looks a little sturdier.

If it's cheap or not is a matter of opinion, Uk prices seem more expensive for them, US your looking at £18 - £35 depending on the texture used on the cloth.

If your small maybe it would be okay
