not much. drill the airbox and it will sound ace. mine did

should i keep the resonator and drill it? or get rid of it and drill it?

Doesn't make much difference, you will also need to replace the airbox intake pipe though as it will still have an open connection to where the resonator used to be. Take the airbox out and remove the part on the wing side, will get some noise from that

If the resonator is what I think it is, removing it won't make any difference to sound or anything else.
If you want noise, derestrict the airbox then drill it.

ahhh okay then, thanks! i had plans to defo derestrict it and get a good panel filter. would drilling a few holes make a better sound than removing the side nearest to the wing? dont think im going to bother with the resonator as i cant be botherd getting a new intake pipe ahaa

Do both Andy. Thats what I did and it sounded great.
Can't remember if Dave drilled his airbox or not.
Also, I removed the cold air feed and that added some noise too.

no made sure of that. its only in that extra section to the left of the airbox
