Hi going to crete on 29th april flying from manchester, just booked my seats and he said we are coming back on a bigger plane so have different seats, can anyone point me where to find which planes we are flying on? going with thomson airways terminal 2

They've usually been all Boeing, going back to when it was Britannia. They ended up with a few Airbus from First Choice takeover but I imagine these will go before long.

airbus have revised the 320/321 so it has sharklets

maybe that is what you heard

Are Thomson planning to retrofit these then?

Seems pointless to keep a different type like that in such small numbers, pretty sure they only have 1 320 and a couple of 321's. Surely if they need the capacity they would be better off swapping for 738's or 752's. Having said that charter fleets are often miss matched.

Most probably 737-800, since the airline is leasing a few more over the summer period to cope with charter capacity.

There's an android app (maybe iphone too?) called checkmytrip, you give it dates/surnames and reference numbers and it tells you what planes are planned for the trips.

I know this because my missus had never been on a 747 before and has a strange fascination for them - so she made me find out what our Orlando flights were on 9 months before we flew

I used www.seatguru.com to lookup mine a few months ago but Thompson aren't on the list for some reason?
