hiya people ive been offered a car with a 2.0 8v engine in a corsa the c20seh one and he says there it has a 1.2 gearbox on it with a lighten flywheel, does this sound ok or a bit dodgy? i thought even if it does work, it will just keep blowing gearbox's? :S
very unsure need help?

Probably not idea for the power rating on the box.
Not sure if that engine is a big block as well?

i know a few lads that have 106 GTI's and ran them with a 1.1 box and been fine so i shouldnt see why this would be a problem

yeh yeh i know a lad who has done the same with gti and he has run through about 3-4 boxes so dunno :S

could always get it and if it blows the box put a bigger box on mate

The SEH is big block, so it can't have a 1.2 box on it
