Friends starter motor on his mk iv 2002 1.4 seat ibiza chill has been playing up for years now and hes looking at getting another one! Hes only asked seat and told me hes going to have to fork out £120 for a new one i said why not check ebay! So i looked and just seen on that ends in half hour for a 1.2 same year ibiza! My question is, shouldnt be any difference should there?

My bro converted his old 1.4 Ibiza to a 2.0 and used the same starter motor, should be fine!
