no, its not me either. sometimes it happens when i boot it at about 3kRPM, dunno tho not always every time, could be the car in front? could be smelly old coolant?

if its an eggy smell usually somet 2 do wiv ur cat converter!

I'm no experet or anythin but i've always been told eggy smells most likely cause is the cat, but there could be another explanation too that i dont know about!

Had this on the old family Corsa - it stank!
It's the cat converter. I think Vauxhall fixed this on later models.

i got exactly the same prob. 95 n corsa sport wiv 25k on the clock. Vauxhall said it was perfectly normal and nothing needed fixing. It's just the catyltic converter.

Its the gases that are released from the cat, nowt to worry abut really! Hence u dont get the smell on cars without a CAT because the gases have not been converted
