Been at Donington Race Track today, been round in an M3 CSL, GT3, GT3RS, but best of all Supercharged Ariel Atom! Seriously this car was crazy! Was just overtaking everyone on track! Accelerating & pinning me back in the seat and making me giggle especially with the crazy supercharger whine, chucking it into a corner and it's on slicks and my face just moved to one side of my helmet as it just grips and the rear end skipping around as the driver was fighting to keep it pinned straight out of the corner, then hits the brakes at 140 and my nuts get crushed by the harnesses as my whole body is just lurched forwards and there's nothing I can do but let my arms & legs dangle before being pinned back into the seat as he accelerates again! Properly properly mental and I really want one! lol. 330bhp in a 500kg go kart - perfection

I wasn't driving  the guy said he has had it a while and he still managed to spin it trying to put a bit much power down I just spent the whole time laughing or smiling, it was seriously immense. It was just a trackday I just whored myself out as a passenger :-)

not quite got the power/weight having only 300 and carrying 800 kg but when the cars moving on track i think id be just as quick if not a bit quicker but depends on the track. i have about 100ft/lb more torque than the atom 3, same power but 300 more kilos.

what you have to realise ist that when you have something moving at say 80mph, one weighs 500 kg and one weighs 800kg the power to weight advantage starts to deminish and the raw power starts to come into it.. me having 100ft/lb would make a difference from a rolling acceleration test.
my mate hill climbs one and we both kinda raced home and we were doing speeds about 80-100 and accellerating and he wasnt leaving me.
also the atom is 135mpg top speed, i got to 150 and then backed off i know it would do 160mph.
