Delco or VDO?
One of them you can do with an EEPROM write, the other needs more work.
My mate did one of mine last time but there was one he couldn't do.
Either way its not easy.

I took radio out, got the serial number and paid £10 online for the code last time.

If you can do it on the serial I probably have the software, but I don't think that head unit can be done on the serial.
