Just checked and got the ice cream sandwich update for my htc sensation if anyone wants it. Seems good and smooth worth the download.

Yeh ota just go settings about phone theb software update. Make sure u got wifi on cuz its 280mb.

is this just simply downloading the update through the phone itself as in not having to go anywhere special and download it?

Updated however... Where the funk have all my pictures/music gone? Last night after the update they were all there but this morning they've all gone.

It can't have wiped the ad card as all my apps are still there but all the pics/musics gone.

I had that too, haven't found them yet though! They're around somewhere as moboplayer found my videos, but can't get to them through gallery

Well, sorted photos, downloaded a file manager, copy and pasted them to the same directory they were already in, seems to have worked

Scrap that, just take the card out and put it back in.

should be there then and ready to update as they are realised generally before the carrier updates are as they add their own bloatware in

oh thought you had a sensation Steve based on your original post, desire s wont see ICS. What version of android you on at the minute 2.3.5 with sense 3? thats about as far as its going to go

The software is nice but the internet browser is crap dont seem to go to your homepage when u close it down like it did b4
