Sorry guys yes another BMW post

I saw this on BMW forum and wasn't too sure but saw exactly the same one on the M56 yesterday and it looked superb

Didn't like them at first but as with all BMW designs they start to grow on you

125D is an awesome engine

Appreciate there will be haters

Interior is better than previous versions but it's a horrific looking car.

Rear resembles the polo. the lines on the front end don't work for me for some reason. Although the original 1 series was a grower.

When did the new 1 series come out?

I'm behind the times with 1 Series Beemers lol.

it was late last year the new one came out - only available in 5 door hatch at the moment

Then 3 door hatch, coupe and covertible will be released in about 18 months time

also new colour of Estoril Blue (in the pic) is now back available on MSport models

Okay.

Looks nice that. 'm not that keen on the breadvan look tbh but that looks better than usual.

Love the coupe's though.

What's the price difference in these and the coupes? I find it really hard to understand people buying these instead of the coupes as they are stunning cars!

I like some bits of that car though, im just not a fan of 5 door hatchbacks in general so im never going to like it

coupe is traditionally 4 seats with saloon boot rather than hatch back

Coupe also are regarded as a better handling car than the hatchback as they are more rigid and are far more expensive than the hatchback - about 2k across the range

I like it, only thing im not keen on is the rear arch/3/4 panel looks a bit odd. Interior is lovely.

I personally am a bit 50/50 about the looks, it's like they want to try something shocking and yet too scared to really do anything that unique and gave up half way though.

Interior doesn't look anything amazing, loads of cheap looking grey plastic and 1000 buttons, only decent looking thing is the leather on the seats.

Exhaust is tiny, don't understand what they was thinking there, obviously isn't good to have a huge exhaust but 2 outlets that look about 1 inch in diameter looks a bit cheap and silly.

Only 27k though. Not really a hater like OP says, just an opinion.

Still not sold on the styling of the new 1 series, although the specification of the one posted is very very nice.
I cannot see me going back into a 1 series unless it was a 1M or 135i Coupe.

I have always liked them. The first shots on the net I thought were a but iffy but as soon as I saw one in Real Life I was well impressed.

Another good job by BMW on the M sport version though

Looks nice, well spec'd as well, bet that cost a fair bit!

I'm still not sold on the new 1 Series styling, I'm sure it'll grow on me though, especially in M Sport trim...

I think its to differentiate from the 118 and 120D versions as the petrols do for the 116/118/120 with single

That 125D just looks cheap and too friendly, no longer a mans car, but a car for anyone, be it a granny or a so called boyracer
