Hi guys just thinking about filling the car full of gas and get some good times in on the track is it worth a go or is it just to much truble and who can surply and fit and setup in the north west

long term more hassle than its worth

expensive doesnt last long and chances are youll blow your engine up lol

For the 1/4 mile or track?? All depends on how much you fancy firing through it, and what sort of set-up you go for.

Didn't the Gaz'd Corsa run a TB'd XE with around 100/150 shot of nitrous through it??

It did and everyone thought it was the best Corsa on the planet at the time lol. How things change eh.

Gaz'd corsa ran 2 x totally separate 150bhp shots, so 300bhp in total hence the hassle they had lol,

Your xe would easily take 150shot, many people have run 100+shots on standard engines,
150bhp shots can smash standard pistons but irc you forged pistons and steel rods?
May just need some timing knocking out for when the gas is on, and rs turbo plugs, and jet it right.

progressive systems are cool only allows the gas to flow when your full throttle

Thats not really the main/best feature of a progressive controller though.

You can fire on a basic kit without a controller and get it to activate only at full throttle. Just have a micro-switch under the throttle pedal.

My engine is on direct to head throttle body so it dhould be fine
