i have grey leather in my car, and basically my job is quite dirty and dusty as i am employed in the tyre business. the driver seat is starting to become a bit darker than the passenger seat and i really need to get it cleaned then fit a seat cover over it to keep it clean.

i purchased some leather wipes, and unlike the dash wipes they don't really clean the seats much. what are the best cleaning products to use on grey leather?

thanks in advance.

Race glaze leather cleaner then treat it with Race glaze leather balm.

Used this to do the leather in my 330 and it has come up really well.

I tried the Sonus equivalents as well which were just as good but far more expensive.

Not fucking telling you the best shite there is and how to care for them properly and the myths about what can be achieved rubbing cream onto dead cow skin.

You would only ignore the advice.

Gliptone is great, use a nail brush to work the dirt out the seats with the cleaner and they will come up great.

Yup won't go wrong with Gliptone, although don't expect miracles from it - the deep grain on BMW leather is a git for holding dirt permanently after a while!

Also I swear I read something on DW a couple of years back about Raceglaze being rebottled / minorly reformulated Gliptone - they look as good as identical fo' sho.

as long as it shifts the dirt thats there now a bit, will do the job for me. then i will put a seat cover on to stop it happening again. really wanted black leather but car was cheap enough.

Honesty i have 17yr old leather thats covered 194k and the gliptone conditioner does nothing, gets into yours clothers and makes you smell like a doctors waiting room, Couple of weeks later and seats feel and look the same as they did before you spent a hour rubbing cream onto a sealed leather seat

Would have got the Zaino Leather cleaner and leather in a bottle. Quite cheap and worked a treat on my leather.
