What size compressor tank would you need to inflate a double air bed?
Assuming about 8 bar in the tank and just above atmospheric in the air bed.
Bed is 190cm x 120cm x 15cm so 342 litres.

I don't understand the question.
Are you talking about a standalone tank of compressed air, that will then be used to inflate the bed? Or a compressor that will be running to maintain its 8 bar pressure?

Inflated where there is electricty then deflated to inflate the bed on site somewhere.
Not sure how good my maths is but 24 litres at 8 bar is 192 litres incompressed, and the bed is over 300 at atmos, and you'd want it more. Meaning that 24 litre tank is no good.

PV = mRT
cba inserting the numbers
ETA: add a bit cause it wont be isentropic or leak free and you need a pressure differential to drive the inflation

Boyle's gas law. Essentially pressure*volume = pressure*volume
Tank pressure * tank volume = atmos pressure * (tank + airbed volume)
Then add a little

I would assume buying a better pump would be more beneficial than carry a.pressurized tank around in the car

That's what I was getting at Gary
Can make up a small pipe with shut off valve and a test nipple fitting on the other end.
