Got my renewal through from Brentacre, went from £1500 to £1100.
Shopped around and got it for £600 fully comp with Admiral!
Granted i've gone from a modified to a standard car, but i'm well over the moon with that!

Did you try Adrian Flux.
Admiral were the cheapest for me online but Flux was £150 cheaper with much better cover, Admiral quote for me was cheap but the cover wasn't great.
£490 on a 1.2 120 Megane dci - not too bad.

Didn't try Flux no, but they haven't given me very good quotes in the past. I thought £600 on an 05 Fiesta Zetec S was a good price really, Brentacre couldn't believe it when i told them 
Didn't even know a 1.2 dci Megane existed!

Just goes to show it's really worth shopping around, nice feeling to get a quote where you don't feel that you've been totally robbed.

You put any named drivers with a good rep? should bring it down a bit more with Admiral.

Yeah that's how i got that price. Putting my Mum and Dad on it brought it down about £300-£400! They do have their uses

I've never had insurance go up, always down. Currently on about £400 so pretty happy with that.

With brentacre i got a quote of over £1200 to insure a dc2 (uk and jdm) which is more than what i was paying for a clio 182 and ep3.
£570 for a clio dci 100. £430 elsewhere. Cant see brentacre matching that tbh, although to insure my old 182 as my 2nd car it was only 1100. Elsewhere was over 3 grand.
