Already bought the above, its an '03 GTi, not the 180. Cos it for £925, which, as its my run around, i can't complain at.

I've tried looking online for subtle things to do with it, but can't find anything!

Any advice on them or ideas of websites etc?

SP kit is always a good start if you've not got that.

All the stuff done to my GTi is subtle pretty much.
Debadged rear, smoked rear lights, black side repeaters, etc. SP spoilers are nice if you don't already have one.
Mine just needs the spoiler fitted and the suspension lowered to finish it off.

Also, as Ian said, 206info is the place to go.

If it's an 03 then you have a phase 2 model? so you have the nicer boot handle and rear lights already.

being a gti you will already have the sport bumpers so it should be looking alright as it is. I don't like the SP arch extensions myself but the SP spoiler is quite nice

Try this thread from 206info some good suggestions in there.

I've got a phase 1 gti for a daily haven't done anything to it. All I would really do is lower it and maybe paint the alloys but with it being a daily I don't want to make the ride any harder than it is

Serious bargains these cars are at the moment, a lot of car for the money.

Sold my 60,000 mile GTi 180 for £2,000 a couple of weeks ago, was very reliable and never let me down apart from a clutch, clutch cost me £120 and I stuck that in, used to service it every 6 months, wasnt too bad on fuel if you drove carefully, managed 40mpg on a few occassions, but mostly around 34-38 when driving long journeys.

Only problem with the 180 is the V.E.D of £270 for the year and the group 17 insurance.

Quite liked my old 206 GTi aswell. Handled good and with only 137bhp it went well. Didn't cost the earth to run either. Didn't even feel the need to lower it as i tried to keep it as standard as possible as it was a very rare colour.

I've got good mileage outta mine too when on long journeys. but since most of my journeys are local, petrol doesn't last too long in it
They're quite nippy for what they are.
I was used to driving a Corsa 12v so I loved mine straight away
