Got some VBOX data from my car off a race start this afternoon. Pretty good start.....

What do you think it did?

400bhp Impreza - standard STI 4 gearbox, uprated clutch

actually got it weighed too - 1187kg ! lighter than I thought.

MattySri - you're on drugs - 0-100 in 3.5s

3.9 to 60mph
8.5 to 100mph

Its the 100 one that makes me :O

I'll upload some short footage of the start.... i was takling it easy

Sounded just like being in a lowered Corsa I remember then days

They aren't 100% accurate but it won't be a million miles off, sounds quick. I think you have to give or take a second at that speed

my 0-100 time was 9.8seconds with my 300bhp in 860kg's, 0-60 was 3.9seconds

ak's is about 300kg heavier with 100bhp more and alot more torque so i cant see it being too far off that tbh.

Exactly, 1 second is an eternity when you are talking short sprints like that. pretty big margin of error if its a second!

If they aren't that accurate, why do all the companies use them for lap times at the Ring?
