How does it read boost? Does it come with some sort of electronic device that plugs into the vacuum system or does the vacuum go straight to the gauge?

Id imagine the sensor that the vacuum/boost pipe connects to will have a device that moves under force in turn moving a resistor so the amount of current is changed either up or down. The chip will then decide wether or not it was boost or vacuum and give a reading on that.

So probably means it will give a delayed reading compared to a mechanical gauge, looks much cooler though

Dunno buddy, might email them and ask, its probably just a lock up.
Still save on postage and stuff plus might get things cheaper if they don't have to list them on egay.
Quite like the look of the suede wheel and boss.

Those gauges are shocking, just put some in a MR2 one of the senders was broken straight away, and another isn't reading the right temps.

Also for boost I would want a analogue gauge as it changes so quickly, be easier to read peak figures, any spikes etc.
