An is there any tricky bits to watch out for? Any help or advice will be much appreciated, thanks, Nath.

You'll still need more bits, think you need mk4 gsi loom and ecu. Unless its mega cheap you'd be better off starting with a c200let with the bis you need for about a grand

Iv actually been offered the whole front half of the vxr.. From the dashboard forward so I already have complete loom, ecu, fuse box, engine, driveshafts, was just wondering if it would all fit in the corsa together, even want to cut down an modify dash to fit?? Any ideas?

vxr is canbus ecu system so the ecu wont work in your corsa, if it does it'll be hard work

will the ecu not work if i use the whole wiring loom out of vxr including fusebox and everything? i wanna use as much as possible from the vxr if i can.. And thanks for the good luck will keep you all updated

Don't see why it wouldn't work if you had basically the whole car.

Pretty sure you would need the clocks out the car as it doesn't start without them connected
Standalone ecu would probably be much easier

gonna use clocks, dash and everything connected mate, so hopefully should all work, its basically gonna be a vxr just with a corsa b shell wrapped around it lol

A friend of mine has put a corsa VXR engine in his nova, Was at total vauxhall at crail last month. Took about 2 years working some weekends on it, It was a cunt. Standalone ECU is the easiest option, even at that it had to get mapped three times

Use the engine and sell everything else from the car and put it towards management, it's going to be a ball ache trying to get it going using the Astra parts

look into the mk4 astra gsi ecu and loom, im sure it can be done without the need for standalone.
think you'll need a corsa c accelerator pedal, astra one is too big
