Got a flash project here and its publishing at 12mb as i have some high res images in the library, but are reduced in size on the actual site.
How do i get flash to only export whats used and not the high res versions?
Or am i gonna have to host them on the server and point flash to them?

Not quite sure what you mean but you should be removing all non-needed library items prior to exporting (create a production version of the project) and scale the images to the needed dimensions prior to importing them into the project. Obviously use preloaders where ever you can.
If you need to use high-res images then drag in the images externally but for visual-aid you want to be using a 'loader'.
