Spotted a red Nova at the petrol station last night so I went up to him and asked if he would sell it.
He said he's sick of people asking him that and gets it all the time, so I said 'What about a swap for a Corsa?' and he seemed keen!
I gave him my number and later he phoned me, went and looked at it and it's really clean!
1.5 Diesel, 67k miles.

So decided to swap my Corsa for it and will pick it up tomorrow!
Will probably take the vinyl off the sides and get both sides painted and just run it for a bit.

Strut tops, battery tray, chassis legs, inner wings are all mint! Cleanest I've ever seen! Has been undersealed too.
I've seen it going about before and always meant to ask him if he's selling it.

Am I missing something? Why would you want a Diesel Nova so bad that you ask someone in the petrol station if they're selling it?

I've been looking for a Nova for ages now and this ones really clean for its age. Granted the stove is a bit of a pain so I'm not sure I'll be interested in fettling it but will see!

The 1.5 TDs go well in Novas so try and source one of them.

Not really easy to convert to petrol engine either cos chassis mount is totally different!
Maybe 1.5 TD conversion and turn the boost up?

Diesel Nova would be cool I think (although not sure I'd own another diesel). Looks a good wee car, get some better pics up when you can.
Fair play to you for swapping.
