Want a track car.. Pumas make good track cars? What about engine conversions and prices for engines etc? On the puma I mean
Or if u were to buy a track car. Built or not what would it be and why?

800 is where I kinda thought, got a corsa b in my drive I could potentially use. Got a megane 225 the now had it at knockhill yesterday and it was brilliant for a totally standard car no mods. I could also play about with it and use this.
I just want some input to help me decide haha

use the megane 110%
Find an R26 gearbox or get the quaife diff. decent tyres and some ds2500 pads, lines and fluid its a very decent car.
Could do most of that for less than 1k

If I kept the megane I'd be wanting more power, really need to forge them to go anywhere above 280bhp.
Same rods as the clip 182 apparently and just bend as soon as you stick some decent torque down them

280bhp is fine in FWD. Spend the rest on decent suspension, brakes & tyres and you will have a seriously quick motor.

Stage 2 is fine but just a map and it's quite a capable car. Not much was getting past mine at Mallory at the weekend.

Just done full brake discs and pads, brembo rear pads. Minted 1144 up front. And some parada spec 2 tyres. I do think it's a cracking car.
Was an r26.r on track yesterday. It did sound good but I was a different session from it so couldn't really compare.
Where did you get it mapped?

I have an rstuning map. But most places have a map for them and changes them completely.
I have semi slicks, ds2500, RBF 600 fluid, braided lines, stripped rear - but have the benefit of the LSD. Cracking little car trying to get the misses to have it so I can buy an M3

puma is good one of the best fwd handling cars out there really, some even rate it on par with the internet god inegra type r, mine must be knocking on the door of 800kgs now, however 30kg cage to go in in a couple of weeks though
