My dad picked this up 5/6/12. 04 plate vectra c 2.0 dti elite.

Just starting the thread to keep any progress that happens in 1 place for future reference when we come to sell

Anyways I gave it a quick scrub with a clay bar and a very quick hand wash but started raining.
10000% better after the clay bar, it was filthy black and clay bar was hacky !

Few pics

My mate had some brand new Sri headlights so went and got them today will be fitted next week

Next is a new tyre or 2 and ordering servicing parts from auto vaux so will be treated to a service with gm parts

Overall it drives lovely so spacious and the seats are really comfy! A lot of car for not to much money

Just order some gm service bits through auto vaux over £20 cheaper than what vauxhall wanted !
Oil,pollen, air and fuel filters and some oil for £49 delivered not bad ! Just need some new coolant then that should be the mechanical side sorted.

Also just ordered him a cross hatch grill that will be his fathers day present lol

Not arsed John not my car
Dan it's great so comfy good on fuel pretty well specced and well priced now.

Paid £49 for service parts delivered and paying a vauxhall mechanic £40 to fit them and check the car over. Only thing is its a side job so can't stamp the book

Very nice that John !

Wey took it to a lad who works at vauxhall fitted all the stuff for £40. All in £89 instead of over £200 vauxhall wanted. He also checked it over needs a new drop link and possibly front and rear brake lines before next test. He also put it on the diagnostics and the outside temp sensor showed up so will replace that when the bumpers off.

Also fitted the new grill and plates. Only a couple pics

Next few weeks should have the sri lights fitted, outside temp sensor, new tyre.

My service parts arrived and picked my alternator belt up due to be fitted 14th.

Tried to fit the Sri headlights to the vectra but rounded one of the t20 bolts and need to try and work out how to get it out

Also me and the girlfriend are moving into our own place shortly so not spending mega money on the car so buying some wheels and springs off my mate joeseth17 off here cheapish

Quick pic of them fitted to his car
