I've bought some 2.0 brakes but need some advise really. Now I've noticed two metal bits on two pads have broke.
Will it be Ok for me to fit these or shall I replace them?
Also I've noticed that the rubber seals on both calipers have seen better days. Will these need replacing, if so where can I get them from?

Be honest mate, judging by the look of the pads i'd bin them and get a new set. They aren't expensive.
Best off replacing the seals and dust covers on the pistons too. Not a hard job. You need a brake caliper repair kit. You can get them on Fleabay for about £30.

Did you pick them brakes off a car that's been in a lake for 6 months? Jesus lol. Without a doubt you need to be replacing them pads, and get the dust covers replaced on the caliper too. Brakes are not one to be skimped on.

I've decided not to use these calipers or pads, as been told by a few people it's not worth rebuilding them.
Can I use Vectra B TD ones instead? Or can anyone tell me what other calipers I can use?
