My wife's mum's old tabby cat, Abby had been found as a stray in the Tamworth area, my wife is on the microchip info so has been contacted.
The shelter she has been picked up by need us to find somewhere by 5pm or she will be put down.
I wouldnt normally ask but the cat means a lot to my wife but we can't have her as she has an allergy to cats.
Please ask around of you don't want her, we really need to get her a new home!

Take that as a no
Let it get put down then, and give her extra cuddles, or get someone to post on facebook group "Norhants For Sale / Swap" and put an advert there if you're not on facebook.

7 years old. She's a lovely cat, soft as shit, she really is, to the point where you could probably stand on her and she'd just look at you without reacting.

You could take it in for the time being at least and confine it to a certain room, feed it when it needs it and let it out for the day, etc. Our cat doesn't get full roam of the house.
How did your mrs go on when she lived with it?

Brett, it was a nightmare, my missus was hacking her lungs up every five minutes and couldn't work out why
We probably will end up having her, not sure how though as we don't have a spare room in this house.

I'd offer to take it, but bad things happen to cats when greyhounds are nearby

Is she an indoor cat? Is she used to other cats around? Where are you based?

Her (wife) mum died, an she ended up with this cat and another. She then suffered from the allergy and it took me to point out what the problem was before she did anything about it. We took them to a shelter and that was that.
By the looks of it, since then, at least one of them has been rehomed and apparently abandoned, or has run away, but because she is microchipped, they have got in contact with the person who's details they have (the wife)
Obviously it was really hard to get rid of them before as Anna was very attached to them, so this is pretty difficult too.
