Who could build and get one hosted?
Fed up with the two corrado forums being so slow and breaking all the time (yes it reflects the nature of the car i spose)
Feel i could have my own forum and make it work.
Its times like this i realise how great a job Ian has made of CS = always works, runs fast, no glitches and no adverts everyone for mature dating etc

DIY. Plenty of free boards knocking around.
Ads= you can pay monthly sum to get rid of.
also Geek Day. Before anyone mentions that.

Offer is there, buy a domain, forward me the details and i'll stick whatever forum software on that you're wanting, with a nice little template.

What sort of costs does running a forum involve
Monthly hosting fee?
Getting it made?
I use a myfreeforum for airguns and it has adverts but runs fine

Depends on the size I suppose, and what addons you needed etc.
I'd be happy to just host it in the background for nothing, im in a good mood today.
Wouldn't take long to set up, about an hour if that, then its all down to you to make your forum categories and shizzle.

Don't use proboards or any free bollocks with ads, they're awful.
VB / IPB / PHPBB are the only one's i'd suggest, so easy to maintain for retard forum owners too.

In what way? I don't think they are that bad, never had a problem. Personal preference, but you do know more than me. (That's not a dig at you Whittie).

Agree with the welsh.
I'm on a few forums and most seem to use VB.
Just dont go loading every addon you see onto it or it'll be slow and shit.
Keep it simple, like CS.

Yes. I must admit this website is a perfect example to 'copy'. Not cluttered with any crap, set out user friendly.

I know mate, think about addons and stuff, you can't alter any of the freebies, they're just a forum shell. Ian / Tim have modded this site to shit, wouldn't have been able to if it was on a platform like you've mentioned.
