Derby had some crazy thunderstorm, then sun, and another storm, but no hail thank fuck, would not of liked walking round in that.

Was driving up the M6 near Corely and it got so dark it was like night time, there was forked lightening on both sides of the road and then there was the most biblical rain storm shortly afterwards! Like something from a movie

Yesterday there was very bad flooding here in Grimsby, the council actually took car of it quickly though, out with their big trucks that hoover up the water like nu-nu from teletubbies.

Today there was just a lot of thunder & lightning

I was in Worcester this morning, same kinda stuff going on there.

Was trying to get back home on the train from Shrub Hill station and only got as far as Kidderminster due to flooding further up the line, had to call my wife to come rescue me in the car

I'm in Hinckley.

My beemers got about Ł700 of damage, 12 dents on the bonnet, 5 on the roof, 1 on the boot.

Every car at work (30 or so) has at least 10 dents, maybe 10 with smashes windscreens, we had to shut down the whole plant due to flooding, house windows put through in neighbouring roads, lad at work lost 40 roof tiles, 2 car windscreens and his guttering, another lad had 3 windows smashed (double glazed).

Never seen anything like it in my life.
