996 Turbo X50

E92 M3

After spending a few hours in a E92 ///M last week I decided I need a new car.

I see pro's & cons for both.
Mainly the Porsche being dated looking and the cheap looking interior.
BMW's awesome. Had a go in a Monte carlo blue one and although didnt dig the colour too much the car was spot on.

I've never liked the look of the 996 in either form, so m3 for me.
Porsche will probably hold value better though.

Now that's a massive difference. Deffo the Porsche especially with a GT2 kit on it.

Both cost about the same, and probably similar running costs.
996 will avoid heavy depreciation of the M3 and skips the high tax band being pre 2006 but will probably need more maintenance as its older.

M3 is more practical. 996 will be a super car.
Although I dislike the looks it would be Porka for me.

"Which would you have?"
Living in London I would have the M3.
If I lived somewhere with more space then I would go for the 996.
