. Basically if yours comes with a charging bulb or a resistor, you need to use that first to charge the cap to avoid any large sparks. Then to wire it into the amplifier, break the postive power cable, and connect both ends to the positive end of the cap, then run a ground lead from the negative of the cap to the cars chassis. Wire its ground independently.
