Just getting an idea, does anyone think it is possible to paint onto a bulb? I know the "blue" "ice white" bulbs have simply a covering of some sort of paint or vinyl i imagine so wondering if its possible?
Reason i ask is i wish do to my H1 fog lights yellow, but don't want to paint the actual lense as want to keep it original looking? The paint pot i have says on the side of the pot, bake at 160c and is then friendly with dishwashers, now they get like hot i imagine with the hot water and that?
Anyone think it will work? O.. btw i will be dipping the bulb in not painting as want an even spread.

Why not just buy some yellow bulbs and it's done right and won't go on fire
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

As above, just get some different bulbs and stop being cheap.

I'd really say no to this. You'll lose brightness, it'll burn off and you shouldn't even get finger prints on the bulbs, let alone paint.

I dipped my indicators into heat resistant silver paint, let them dry then fitted back to car.
Was sound and still flash orange. no problems!
dunno bout fog lights etc though.........

Yellow bulbs will look shit anyway, save yourself time and money and leave them as they are.

Nail varnish is good for bulbs. I did some red ones as i couldnt get brake bulbs like i needed and they where fine. Did turn orange after a while but u could jut do em again 
this is for standard bulbs i dont know what its like on all bulnbs because some you cant even finger print the glass. . . . .
