It looks as if this guy is using a 2000 grit wet and dry and some super resin polish afterwards.
Would this work to remove some scratches on my car or would it end up looking shit when doing it in real life and ruin the paintwork?

Cool,  wanting to remove some surface marks and light scratches on my corsa so may have to buy some 2k wet & dry and hope for the best lol

you wont remove 2000 grit sanding marks with super resin, i wouldnt suggest going straight into wet sanding your pride and joys paintwork without previous experiance or knowledge of it

You will remove the sanding marks with some G3 cutting compound, and using 2000 grit to remove light scratches I'm sure he won't go far wrong.

Use a machine polisher with a cutting pad and cutting fluid!! Get somone to do it for you if you dont know how as you could cut it to much. Then once its cut then use polish with a buffing pad then do it again then give it a wax with the buffing pad then give it a seal!
