need help indentifying a gearbox.

its a 2005 MG ZR 1.4 16v and basically it says you get one with and without the PG1 gearbox. how do i go about finding out what one it is? i have written down all the codes that are stamped on the gearbox, none of which mention anything about it being a PG1.

anybody help?

Haynes manual? Might show pictures of the different ones
