Bought paint to touch up a few bad spots around the car, and the difference between the new paint is like the difference between black and white.

Was told by a guy in halfords that it was star silver and he gave me halfords own brand star silver in a rattle can.

Cheers if anyone can help me.

But there are 3 star silver's, what's the paint code?

Should be on the drivers b pillar.

SS1 is 138

SS2 is 147

SS3 is 157

Couldn't find anything on the B pillar but I did find 147 on the slam panel. On a wee black plate? I'm assuming that's the paint code?

The GSIs are smoke, that is 100% star silver

Never seen a paint code stamped on the B pillar of any my corsas...You know the B pillar is the vertical line behind the door right? A pillar is next to windscreen (either side) and C is going down next to back window (either side).

Imagine how much quicker Ben's carbon corsa would be if it was silver!

So do I just give whoever is mixing the paint the code 147/82L & they can take it from there?

It's there on other vaux's so i assumed it was there but obviously not.

So it's SS2 then.
