Always wonder how these come about......

However I'm more after opinions on cars recommended rather than the cars themselves.

Requirements:
£14k budget
Diesel
Under 60k
New as possible
Decent spec would be nice
Needs to be refined as meeting clients etc and give off the correct image.
Needs to be fairly quick.

So far on my shortlist is:
3 series m sport coupe - looks and style
3 series m sport Edition saloon

Off to look at this on Saturday
Car

I have been told I have blinkers on though!

You'd be better leasing something brand new & keeping your 14k.

No only people who can't afford it do that. Its all about framing the receipt of the depreciating asset above the fireplace.

1 Series coupe is the only one i like and its out of budget, dont know much about the A4's, though a 4 door is not my first choice. Passat is out of the running, what about a Scorrico, anyone know much about these and prices on them?

What sort of deals can you get for around £300 a month? Is it you that has a 3 series on a lease? Mileage is also a concern as could do in excess of 25k

The only mondeo i would consider would be the ST (for looks) and the Titanium (for spec) but my Fiesta ST got a flat out no (even without the milltek )

Thats not bad and i have 2k deposit but i cant stretch to £370 a month, £300 is my limit based upon being able to pass the 'affordibility' for my new mortgage on my own and what i can acutally afford generally. What sort of spec is the 'Sport' is it simlar to an Msport?

edit: Is the mileage limit per year or for the duration of the contract?

3 series without a doubt

the saloon prices should be dropping as the F30 is out now

Coupes are nicer but more expensive hence will be slighly older models - however you will get better grade of kit as standard

i.e coupe has xexons, 18's, blueotth etc all as standard which are all options on the saloon

Good luck

Having got a 1 and 3 series the 1 series is a better drive but prefer the 3 series
