hello , ive just left work to find someone has smeared a kebab all over my windscreen and by the looks of it stood on my exhaust as one of the rubbers has snapped ( although there is no foot marks so it could of broke anyway ) , im not massivly bothered about what has happened as there is no real damage just needs a good wash and scuttle removing , it also doesnt help that i do work nights and park in a busy car park. My car isn't flash at all but is heavily modified gsi kit lowered roll cage and matt black paint etc.

im just trying to figure out if people have done it purley because its modified? i drive sensibly so cant of made any enemys while out on the road :/

also excuse my spelling it isn't the best haha

Could be the fact they are jealous.. They want a car to look like yours but cant afford it or something..... Or a completely random act :/

absolutely without a question, people see them as a nuisance or hinderance, they get jealous, people also probably sterotype them as having loud exhausts, loud music and generally being a nuisance so yes i would say a modified car is more likely to be vandalised then a bog standard one.

I don't think it's jealousy, not in the case of your average modified Corsa, Saxo etc anyway. Most people that modify cars for purely aesthetic reasons do it to get attention and get people to look at the car. Sadly this also gets the attention of people that think it's funny to vandalise other peoples stuff.

Sometimes jealousy, others cos of hate.

Even though I have a moderately loud exhaust I can understand people that get pissed off with them, there's a scooby that sometimes blast up and down our street late at night and when the windows open it's deafening.

Some idiots do it as said cos they are jealous, you might not think a corsa would instill jealousy in someone but clearly it does as has been seen.

Still Does not give anyone the right to start bashing up and throwing stuff over peoples cars.

when i had my lambogreen corsa hadit sprayed 5 times as it kept getting keyed had window smashed aswell.

white gsi now listen to this one...

someone actually did a shit on my bonnet!!

it was chicken donner haha , he the pitta bread was left on the windscreen and everything , its the first thing thats happened to my car in the 5 years of owning it , although ive only been in this job just over a year where i park in a public carpark , i dont think its any thing personal as im pretty sure they could of done more damage , my friends upset people twice since learning to drive and he got yellow paint poured on his car and 2 cars smashed up :/
