Im starting to paint my corsa b 1.2 16v, not everything just the most important places where i must paint cos of rust. I got some rust on the wings. Im starting with the sand paper, then filler, then sand paper again, then primer, then paint, and then ( i dont know how u call the stuff i need to put last before i finish it with 1200 sand paper) can somebody tell me what name have this stuff, i know u might laugh but i really wanna know. Thanks


Can somebody explain to me what exactly mean 40-60 mm spring, is that long or diameter ? Sorry for askin maybe stupid question but i bought a corsa 1.2 16v months ago and still learning. Thanks

Hi mate, welcome to the site. Any pics of your car? Where in essex you from?

As ian said, the measurement is how much it will lower the car from standard.

Not really, im startin paiting the front bits, probably wings too and try to make it better for longer after i start the back side too :/

Surely theres no such thing as a 40-60mm spring? it will either drop it by 40mm or 60..
Or do i have the wrong end of the stick??

Some times you can get kits that lower the front or rear more. E.g. 60mm front and 40 mm rear.

I dont know most of the parts names in english so i will ask you,
Can somebody tell me name of this things of the first photo and tell me about the LAST photo, one of the end is bended, is that a problem or not ??

Welcome to the site mate and fair play for getting the rust sorted before it gets any worse

Bilt hamber do some amazing rust removal/anti rust products so might be worth checking their website out

yes, i did under the arches, below the radiator, under the car too, on the front corners aswell, everywhere where i could touch even with at least 2 fingers is done, all metal brush, loads sand papers, and in the end hamerrite silver paint

should have treated it with bilt hamber etc stuff, the rust will come back otherwise
