Going to be spending the weekend there with the gf. Not looked into it yet properly but is there anything anyone would recommend? Only thing i've found is sherwoods forest maybe and the shopping centre?

Used to love pit and pendulum as it played awesome music and was quite quirky. Now it is always dead, plays shit music and is genuinely manky. Think they've run out of money and are running on a wing and a prayer. If you manage to find at least one seat that isn't burst or broken, you'll be doing well. And no, it doesn't add to the "charm"

Could do the galleries of justice tour if you're into that kind of thing.
Fairly good shopping in Nottingham also.
Sheerwood forest is a nice walk
Oh and if you're going to go anywhere for lunch/dinner Petit Paris is loooovely and not HUGELY expensive

What's the underground caves thing out the back of the (Victoria?) shopping centre, remember going there as a kid and it being alright
