I came across some interesting things, I could literally spend hours there, looking through stuff.

Can I make my Pink Panther joke, or is it inappropriate?

"dead aunt....dead aunt.....dead aunt, dead aunt, dead aunt"

It was the same when I was clearing and boxing my Granda's old stuff after he passed. Came across some really unbelievable stuff, like old racing magazines from the 50's and various other things. Granted I cried my way through most of it, but I had a flick through everything as I put it in it's box. In a Land Rover magazine I found an ad that looked remarkably like a Land Rover Series II A he had bought to restore, and it turned out to be the exact one! Found 2 of his old handkerchiefs, one of which said 'Granda' on it and had never been used (collapsed in a ball of tears when I found that) and another covered in paint and dirt from the garage. Framed them on my wall on my bedroom actually.

Moral of the story is finding old stuff is strange, can have a weird effect.

No mate your not having them. Stuff like Autosport (I think) and others from back in the day. One spoke of "Up and coming racing driver Jim Clark" as well as mentioning "The driving brilliance of a relatively unknown A. N. Other". Should have read them before I put them away!
