I never look at eBay for cars but for the stuff I do buy I never look at Buy it Nows.

I go on eBay to bid in auctions, so go with no reserve and see how it goes.

You can always get a mate to win it if you're way below target

I always look at the buy it now's to get an idea of prices.

Using Classifieds these days, far cheaper as you don't pay a final value fee.

Less hassle to organise because people can come and do a deal without it infringing policy and making people nervous that they're going to get blacklisted from the internet for contravening some Ebay rules.

put a buy it now on and 5 minutes later some dimwit who cant read will click buy, your advert is no longer live, potential buyers cant see it, and your waiting a week for even an email from said dimwit

Well i put it on Ebay last night with for 1500 buy it now and 1000 start bid.

Had 8 emails and 2 people call wanting to come see it.

One chap is coming 3 hours tomorrow to see it.

Fingers crossed
