Hi Lads,

Quick question. Me and the Mrs to be are planning our honeymoon over in the states but are unsure about what we should be paying for the following holiday (details below).

So far we have been quoted £2385 pp for this which I think looks ok but this is coming from the lad who (with the exception of NYC for 4 days) has only been to Maga and Ibiza

So Holiday as it stands:

12th Aug: Edinburgh - Gatwick - Las Vegas

7 Nights in the Cosmopolitan Hotel

19th August: Las Vegas to Miami

7 Nights in the Loews Hotel

26th August - Miami - Gatwick - Edinburgh

Sorry to ask but i'm a bit clueless. The only doubt I have is that it's quite early to book and flights may well be expensive as there arent many on offer? (Supply and demand etc etc)

Any help would be great! Sorry for the essay!

cosmo is awesome
just got a price of £1100 per person for 3 nights in october this year at cosmo
flights are what you pay for, can get cosmo for around £50 a night

which room are you staying in?

we had a terrace studio, if you can get a terrace wrap around suite, my parents had that and it was nearly as big as my flat

the pool is very cool

Thanks for that mate! So on the face of it that price of £2385 pp looks ok then?

Cosmo looks fully ace. That Marquee day club looks the dugs baws

I think it's a City Room were in mate? Apparently I have to give the receptionist 50 dollars though and tell her it's our honeymoon to see if we can get an upgrade

When we were shopping around we found it cheaper to book flight and hotel separately, opposed to packages.

Heard good things about Cosmo, but can fully recommend The Mirage as well.

depends on the person on reception, my mate booked a city room, turned up with his mrs and a proper english accent saying how wonderful and amazing everything in america is, woman upgraded them to a wrap around terrace

We got two bottles of champagne and an upgrade from a suite without Strip view to a corner suite with panorma Strip view for being on our honeymoon, so hardly as extravagant.

I wouldn't think the receptionist would even have the power to upgrade from a room to a suite? Unless of course you're lucky enough to run in to the manager...

I'm off to the Cosmo next Thursday. One week, breakfast included. Paid £950 for flights and accommodation which seems pretty decent.

were going to do the marquee one, but the normal pool had tunes playing and was full of hotties (lots of free pool tables too) so we just stayed in there, there is a quiet pool to the side of the building if you want to relax

Aye that Marquee Day club looks the shizzle, as does the Wet Republic one at the MGM

Going to book that helicopter to grand canyon and go see Hoover Dam too I think!

Anything else you would recommend mate?

Excellent! So to summarise lots of eating, partying and getting in a mess seems the order of the day with a helicopter ride thrown in for good measure?

Stripburger is mega

Japonais in The Mirage is one of the best restaurants I've been too. American-Japanese fusion. It's fantastic.
