They just plug into the standard aerial socket don't they?

yer but they dont work on modern teles but i read if it does work it take to long to load up

What is the output resolution of the C64?

If it is silly low maybe its outside of the range of a modern TFT screen?

I'd be trying it on a number of TVs just to make sure the C64 isn't mullered. Failing that, either use an old school telly or you can buy RF to Scart coverters.

i no it works and it only been stored in a dry place so i cant see it being damaged from that

i used to have it on when i was a kid before we could afford the playstation

Still doesn't ruled it out that it is damaged though. Also make sure your TV supports analog feeds, not just digital over RF.

download an emulator and play it on you pc, enjoying instant loading times instead of sat waiting for 30 mins, plus download every game ever made for it for free

The games take 20 mins to load up as it is, having to wait for the whole thing to load up is just taking the fucking piss
