Right am looking to book a hotel to grab a few hours sleep after a night flight from the states in early Jan.

Just want something cheap like a Premier Inn but I think you cannot check in before 2pm?

will be arriving at the hotel probably around 8am. Can you check in early? I heard rumours you can pay for a room on an hourly rate in the london area

Anyone stayed close to Heathrow before?

Just done several searches, trying to find these hourlys.

I don't think sleeping on the plan will be an option. When we land my bodyclock will be 1am and local time will be 6am. It's a 4 hour drive home which I don't want to risk especialy if the weather conditions are shitty. would rather sleep till just after lunch then head home.

Other option is stay down the night before we fly out and leave the car there for 7 nights. If we have snow or shite I'd rather travel down the day before also.

Just playing it safe, happy to pay out and have no stress etc.

Head out of Heathrow for 5 minutes and find somewhere near Staines/Windsor/Slough and book a night each side of your holiday. Should work out okay price wise

Oh, and, talk to B&B owners, they'll be more likely to be accomodating

Premier Inn on Slough Road was spot on last time I used it. Not sure what the check in rule was.
