A truck full of pigeons, standing still, sat on a weigh bridge, records a combined weight.
The pigeons then starts to fly around inside the truck so no longer touching the floor of the truck, is the weight still the same?

if you stand in the aisle on a bus and jump high in the air while the bus is moving, will you land where you took off or further down the bus?

You will land in the same place but with a very sore head.

It would weigh less.
unless the pigeons were hovering just off the ground then surely there would be a force downwards cause by air?

Why don't planes land on a conveyor belt? makes more sense than taking off from one

Fucking hell how high are your bus ceilings? Im over 6ft and i had to duck my head last time i was on a bus. There is no room to jump high enough to even gain enough air time.

If a plane is overweight full of pigeons it cant take off.
if the plane is full of pigeons that are flying inside the plane and its on a conveyor belt would the plane take off?

Season 5, Episode 8. Can't find it on the toob. I think the result was that it still weighs the same, as there is a downforce exerted by the birds wings.

Not unless you are facing the wrong way (i.e back to the driver)
