- Anyone done it ?
- Are they expensive ?
- Can you get em for the Corsa DTi ?
- And would it make a good improvement on pulling away at lowish revs ?
Thanks

erm, all turbos have a wastegate actuator.
its what limits the boost level so you dont blow the engine.
the only way to improve your performance is too chip it and bigger intercooler.

ahh ! Thanks.
I was confused there then !
So does the standard wastegate fitted actually like store the pressure, and then send it through when pulling away at low revs then?

no, it stops the turbo overboosting. as standard its set at 0.67 bar, basically it dumps excess turbo boost into the atmosphere so you dont blow up the engine. you use a bleed valve to trick the wastegate that the turbo is running lower boost than it is.
